Asset Commercial Credit™ (“ACC”, “we” or “us”) is a licensed commercial finance company based in Rocklin, California. We provide business financing solutions (factoring, A/R financing, loan consulting, etc.) and our website (www.assetcc.com) helps clients learn about these services and contact us. Protecting your personal information is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on our site, how we use it (for analytics, advertising, and your preferences), and how we protect it. By using our website you consent to the practices described below.
Personal Information (volunteered): When you fill out a contact form, request a consultation, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the personal details you provide (for example: name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other information you volunteer). We do not collect sensitive information (e.g. payment card data) on our website, since we have no payment gateways.
Automatically Collected Data: We and our service providers (like Google Analytics) automatically collect non-identifying data when you visit our site. This includes your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view. As our old policy notes, “Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by ACC. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses”. We use this to analyze site usage and improve our services.
To Provide Services and Communicate: We use your personal information to respond to your inquiries, schedule consultations, and deliver any services or information you request. As ACC’s current policy states, “ACC collects and uses your personal information to communicate with you and to deliver the services you have requested”.
Marketing and Advertising: We may use your information to inform you about our other products or services. For example, ACC’s previous privacy notice said we may use your info to “inform you of other products or services available from ACC”. We also use analytics and advertising cookies to understand user preferences and to display relevant ads (see below).
Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google requires that we disclose this usage in our policy. Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns in an anonymous form. We use this to improve the website’s content and user experience.
We do not sell or lease your personal data to third parties. We will not share your personal information for any purpose other than those described here. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, as explained in our prior policy.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our site. These tools help us recognize your browser, gather analytics, and provide targeted advertising. As a guideline example explains: “When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you…”. In practice, this means we and our online partners (e.g. Google) may collect data about your browsing activity and associate it with information (like an email address) if available.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics cookies to track visitor behavior. Google does not collect or store any personally-identifying information from this site. We include this disclosure per Google’s requirements.
Online Advertising: We may also use cookies to deliver relevant ads. Third-party vendors (including Google) may use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to our site. You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies for advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. To opt out of cookies used by other advertisers, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt‑out page (networkadvertising.org/choices) or adjust your device’s privacy settings.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that turning off cookies may affect how our site functions or your ability to use certain features.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We only disclose your information in the limited cases below:
Service Providers: We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the website or our business (for example, hosting providers, analytics services, or email providers). These parties are not allowed to use your personal data for any purpose other than to carry out services on our behalf.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others. This includes complying with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requests.
Under no circumstances will we sell, rent, or lease your personal data to any third party.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. For example, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for data transmission. However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure. As noted in our policy, “no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure”. You should also help protect yourself by keeping your account information secure.
Our services and website are intended for users over 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
You have choices about how we use your information:
Communications: If you wish to stop receiving marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe or contact us at any time (see Contact below).
Advertising Cookies: You can opt out of interest-based advertising (ad cookies) by using browser settings or the opt-out tools mentioned above.
